Plasma cutting is increasingly used, not only by blacksmiths, but also by small laboratories in other sectors. Also in advertising studios for the realization of totems or light signs. What is plasma and how does it works? The combined action of electric power and compressed air, which through a nozzle is blown at high speed, allows to cut steel sheets and other ferrous materials of considerable thicknesses. The plasma burns, up to a temperature of 10000 degrees centigrade, at very high speed (2000 km/h). high definition with a very precise cut without the need to refine the metal.

The range of the use of plasma cut goes from panels with a thickness of up to 25mm: carbon steel, stainless steel and aluminum.

AUTOMATIC CONTROL

The “Z” axis stroke has an automatic control of the torch’s height in order to cut even on not so flat sheets.
RACK HANDLING

The handling of the axles is a RECIRCULATION OF SPHERES, closed loop stepper motors move the X, Y axes on precision guides, by high quality controllers (made in Italy).

HYPERTHERM TORM

The electrospindle is the muscle of the machine. A.M.M.A pantographs will install, according to the customer’s needs and the materials used, its best configuration.
Its power is related to the type of material. It is possible to install professional electrospindles even with a very high RPM number. On MARBLE and ALUMINUM, It is recommended a thrust version.
You can also add different tools for various processes. Our electrospindles are MADE IN ITALY with guaranteed assistance all over the world. They are managed by the control software installed on the machine, both for RPM number and for the drive.
